Hi Hannah, I'm one of your subs and love your videos, I'm learning a lot. I am a newbie and just at the start of my POD journey. I have been using the paid version of Place it, however the new Etsy rules state that POD shops are only to use the mock-ups from their production partner. This is not good news as the Printify mock ups are not as good as the Place IT ones. A friend of mine recently told me she got hers from Etsy. I was going to search on Etsy for more variety in my mock-ups as I increase the number of listings in my store, and I discovered there are many shops on Etsy selling mock-ups, however I guess with the new rules then won't be able to. I was using the Bella+ Canvas 3001 tee mock-up that Place it has so my mock-up is an accurate representation of the product i am selling,, however I understand that Etsy are pulling shops from their site that do not adhere to these new rules. I wanted to get established on Etsy before applying to Amazon's Merch on Demand programme as I understand that it can be difficult to get accepted. I have to stick with Etsy for now.

This application is clunky. I had to use my name and personal SSN because it wouldnt accept the EIN unless my business name was entered in the name field. But then my business name would be on the W-9 and that is not what I file my tax return under and it wouldnt accept me signing the form with my name with the business name on the W-9. There was also no way to get in touch with anyone since my account wasnt set up yet.

I did everything you said but wasn't accepted. I have my own IP artwork, my own company and I sell on Etsy but was not accepted. I will try again as an individual.

I honestly am skeptical of this all. Is Etsy the way to go? Redbubble and Teepublic seem like a waste of time to me as someone new to this. Amazon rejected me, so yeah, awsome!

Thanks for your video! I use Placeit a lot but I do have one complaint. In so many of their mock ups, the model is holding a phone or coffee cup or is wearing a jacket or has the shirt tucked into their pants. This obscures a good deal of the photo from the final mock-up. Someone needs to tell these guys that the purpose of the mock-up is to display the design on the shirt, not their awesome photo shoot.

You won’t last long on Etsy selling ai images. They are deleting accounts that do such on the handmade site . There was just a meeting about this with the shareholders.

Tried this. There is not much profit to be made after vendor and shipping costs. People can go to WalMart for cheap custom mugs that are done faster than through Printable or TeeLaunch. Dollar Stores also have decent decorated mugs for cheap. And $6279??? Wow, good luck with that.
